In addition to the rider restrictions please be aware that this is a scare attraction that is designed to be scary but we will not scare you when you are riding a vehicle. Loud noises, smoke and theatrical lighting including flashing, laser and strobe based effects are featured throughout this experience that people with medical sensitivity may wish to consider. We strongly advise you to not participate if you have a fear of the dark, confined spaces or are asthmatic, epileptic, Claustrophobic, have a heart condition or are pregnant. This is a Halloween themed experience at night which some participants of a nervous disposition may wish to avoid. Ask a member of the team for further advice on 0371 789 1024.

What Lies Beneath is our scariest feature and participation is optional. In the pre-show area your instructor will make you aware should you wish to avoid this feature. Access requires participants to walk down steps and into narrow corridors with low vaults, uneven floors and dark areas. The experience is not suitable for those that are Claustrophobic, Pediophobic or Coulrophobic. This experience recreates a scene of crime and is rated 12a. Children (10-15) must be accompanied by an Adult (18+) at all times.
Yes that’s no problem at all – just like our normal sessions we will start with our safety briefing and training session in our private flood-lit area. We always get everyone riding confidently quickly.
Mount Edgcumbe Country Park (excluding the House and Earls Garden) including all the cafe’s will be open as normal until 4.00pm.
The main Barrow Centre car park will remain open for visitors to Halloween Glide and Glow throughout the evening. Gates to the car parks will be locked 30 minutes following the return of the last group.
Spectators who are a part of your group are more than welcome to accompany you in our viewing area but will not be permitted to walk into the formal gardens or Segway trails in the park.
Yes – you can travel on the Cremyll Ferry from Stonehouse Plymouth to experience Halloween Glide & Glow. You’ll need to join us on a session that starts at 4.30pm. The last ferry departs at 6.30pm (6.00pm on Sunday). The gate at Cremyll lodge will remain open for pedestrians only. We would recommend that you bring a torch to aide your return to Cremyll in the dark. The walk from Adventure Segway to the ferry terminal is about 10 minutes following the main drive.
Halloween Glide & Glow will last at least 60 minutes in duration, but please allow up to 90 minutes for the entire adventure.
Adventure Segway is an all weather activity. However we understand your enjoyment at night will be greatly affected by the weather.
On occasion we may have to delay or cancel your experience at short notice due to inclement weather or any other reason that we deem circumstance so require. If the weather is unsuitable for riding we will provide you with the opportunity to reschedule your session or provide a full refund.
You are welcome to redeem your Experience or Gift voucher/s for Halloween Glide & Glow instead of our standard daytime session but please be aware that this experience is designed to be completely different.
Our instructors have successfully entertained tens of thousands of visitors safety at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and we retain an exceptional safety record. Rest assured - Halloween Glide & Glow continues to be planned with guest safety at the forefront of all that we do.
The Segway is a self-balancing personal transporter that uses patented balancing technology. Balancing technology cannot prevent injury if you do not ride the Segway safely. To ride safely, you must listen to your instructor at the beginning of your session who will provide you with thorough tuition in our private training area.
